Interesting news. With this and Kirby's character in Fallout it's nice to see McQuarrie going back to the first one. I might even venture an idea that the first one might be his favorite in the series (it is mine - De Palma was fantastic).

I wonder if they'll find room for Thandie Newton's character as well in one of the two next ones. As cool as it might be to see these legacy characters return I just hope it would be for a purpose and not just fan service.
