She's also the least well known I think? Especially when it comes to movies. I haven't seen her work yet but she's definitely got the look for the part

Most def the least well known. She's one of the leads in Netflix's Dear White People and yeah, she managed to eclipse Tessa Thompson in the same role (DWP was a film originally).

Can we get a movie with one hero and one villain for once? Not everything needs to be an ensemble.

Eh, we've had that before and while that also works I think the film being depicted as a noir/murder-mystery makes an ensemble of villains more interesting than an ensemble of villains for the sake of it. Also, Reeves said the story is told quite squarely on Batman's shoulders so I wouldn't worry the film will be overkill of villains.

Also, if we'll get another Joker with Patman down the line then fucking hell it has to be Chalamet.
