I'm afraid my list is quite front loaded since I met the woman who is now my wife in 2012 and have seen very little since then as opposed to the 100+ films a year (about 25% new releases) I was watching prior

My Top 10:

Inception
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
True Grit
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Before Midnight (perhaps the best of this unorthodox trilogy; I advise you watch Before Sunrise and Before Sunset first)
The Hunger Games Trilogy
About Time (a poignant film from the director of Love Actually, another fav)
The Town
Frozen
Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol

Honorable Mentions (no particular order)

Interstellar
Super 8
Moneyball
Black Swan
Rise of the Planet of the Apes
Love and Other Drugs (if it weren't for the brother's inclusion which I felt contributed to a lack of focus with regards to the main characters/plot/genre this might be in my Top 10)
Shutter Island
Skyfall
The Dark Knight Rises
The Avengers
Captain America: The First Avenger and Captain America: The Winter Soldier
X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Days of Future Past
Boyhood
Crazy, Stupid, Love
Gone Girl
21 Jump Street
The Artist
The Imitation Game
The Silver Linings Playbook
The Social Network
The Descendents
The Kings Speech
The Ides of March
The Fighter
The Lincoln Lawyer

Interstellar isn't at the top of your list? GTFO.

No it is not...but Inception is and I'm sure many of us disagree on what's the best Nolan film. :P

BTW, look through the thread again; you should probably tell everyone but the OP to do the same...

Interstellar is a very ambitious and admirable film effort but imo Inception is more watchable. :|

Cool to finally see The Dark Knight Rises pop up on one of these lists. Such an underappreciated flick. The rest are also pretty cool

Yeah I can't help but feel like such a fanboy with all 3 of Nolan's movies in this decade in the top 6, but The Dark Knight Rises more than holds up on repeat viewings. And my actual theater experience with it in 2012 was amazing. It's flawed, but it really isn't like any other superhero film.
