Re: Still Plenty of Time To Die Until April (2020)

Am I the only who really dislikes the trailer for this? Not the content itself but the way it was edited and put together. The first minute and a half are just terrible. The last minute though *chef’s kiss* it was thrilling to see that part twice in IMAX.

Re: James Bond Official Discussion Thread

I actually think Writing’s On The Wall might be my favorite and Sam sang it beautifully. NTTD comes second for me then Skyfall (sorry Adele).

Surprisingly Skyfall just didn’t work for me. On the other hand, I really enjoyed Spectre. Officially ready for No Time To Die.

Re: Ludwig Göransson will compose Tenet

But that’s what Zimmer was. It’s not like he went for an extreme opposite to Zimmer’s sound. Tenet doesn’t sound too different from what Zimmer delivered for Nolan (Minus Interstellar which was completely unique). Tenet seems to be ‘sound’ oriented with a simple theme. Lots of electronics and big dr...

Re: Ludwig Göransson will compose Tenet

I don’t think the article is right. We know that Chris asked Hans to create a long track consisting of heartbeats, ticking (from his own watch), footsteps and thumps. That track was used as the film was edited as a tempo map. Zimmer mentioned somewhere they tried a traditional score in terms of orch...

It is. I just wish the action scenes breathed a little. Less fast cuts with slightly longer takes.

Re: Still Plenty of Time To Die Until April (2020)

Love the song. Have warmed up to Billie’s music after her Grammy wins and she and her brother are so talented. It’s not showy like the previous two songs. It’s very soft and intimate which is refreshing. Watched Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace today and was blown away. Can’t wait to watch Skyfal...

Re: Prologue

Your efforts are most appreciated. It’s just fun to compare the versions objectively.
And of course no one is gonna take an Arri Alexa to a theater lol.

At the end of the day it’s a cam bootleg - it’ll never be as good as an HD version or DCP.

Re: Prologue

There are textures in the music that are much more noticeable in this version but there moments where the sound quality drops a little. The previous one is pretty good audio wise. And yeah the contrast is way too high in this one. Should rented and smuggled an Alexa Mini. Minor detail When the SWATs...
