This is an unnecessary thread and all the discussions are also unnecessary cause we have been discussing and rating films on "What is the last movie you watched" thread.

Same here. I thought it would be somewhat decent, considering that the material was already pre-made and I didn't think he could f-up that badly.

chee dont tell me your signature is a spoiler of tron.

Sorry man.

Really liked that part, forgot that others haven't seen the movie. I'll change it. ;)

It's not a spoiler. Jeeze louise people are so spoiler crazy these days. TRON has no narrative so there's nothing to spoil anyway.

Actually, after reading all those reviews(minus Ebert's) I enjoyed very bit of Tron:Legacy. :P
A nice answer to all critics by a Tron fan.

Oh I thought he was talking about the other one you have right now. The other one is a bit of a spoiler yeah, but still it's not about the END it's about the journey TO the end.

What a big baby that blog writer is. Just because critics think it's uninspired drivel, which it is, doesn't mean you can't love every second of it. I wish people would stop seeking out critics to try and justify their own personal feelings. Everyone needs a bandwagon these days.

Aside from Inception, I don't think there was a movie this year that I had high hopes for in advance. Inception did pay off, and though there were films that I didn't care for like Clash of the Titans or Prince of Persia, my expectations weren't high enough to be disappointed.

I guess if I had to pick some, I'd choose Tron: Legacy and The Town. Tron, because there wasn't really anything in the story to keep me engaged. The FX were well done and the action was spiffy, but I didn't think it was substantial enough to not only encourage me to watch it again, but to even look foward to the next installment (if there is one). As for The Town, while I thought it was a good movie, I was disappointed that after it ended I had no desire to see the movie ever again. I can definitely see why it's getting so much acclaim, but for me it's a one-and-down experience.
