Very recently watched Three Outlaw Samurai on criterion, great stuff. Harakiri and Samurai Rebellion may be next for me. Need to actively look out for more Samurai movies from 60s.

Years ago. Almost half of his filmography. Which is unfortunate in a way because so much of post war Japanese cinema I have not explored. Going to rectify it this year no matter what.
