Re: Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019)

I'm pretty sure JJ has made a crowdpleaser

As long as they won't cling onto the OT too much like the previous two films, that'd be great

I mean yeah I know you can't simply ignore it and having multiple connections is fine but going through the same sort of stories is just uninspired

Re: Trailer #2/Prologue

I always continue to be amazed by IMAX's 1.44 aspect ratio. I've never seen any of the films shot partially on IMAX film in 1.44 so every time I see a piece of film or a still the image always stretches beyond what I had in mind lol It sucks that my country only has 1.90 IMAX screens (not even laser...

Re: Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019)

Yeah the fact that there has to be a new status quo at the end makes me think
Kylo Ren will be redeemed (or the ultimate sacrifice) and Rey perhaps using both sides of the Force, which to me always seemed like something they had to work towards to. I haven't read any of the spoilers/leaks btw.

Re: Ford v. Ferrari (2019)

Okay y’all, I fucking loved this movie. It made me feel it all, from happiness, to anger, to heartbreak. And it’s really pretty to look at. But the title is rather misleading, because it’s Ford v Ferrari in the most primitive and cliched sense. And most of the film is not that at all. Ferrari, if a...

Re: No Time To Die (2020)

I think at least half if not more of the bts drama was fake news

not to forget that these films usually have a huge bit strict production. Shooting a yera before release, wrapping in five to six months and sometimes a short teaser or none unti a couple of months before release
