Re: Trailer #2/Prologue

But unless you want the links to be taken down fast, PMing the links/footage to people on here, or mods, whatever, is your best bet. Also, I think if we are PM'ing links, they should only be shared with members who have been with NF since at least the start of this thread. Otherwise, it's obviously...

Re: What actors do you wish Nolan would work with in the future?

Nolan/Cruise will never happen after the Dark Knight debacle. Also, Nolan doesn't want to be within five miles of Scientology. It's an awesome idea on paper, but Cruise is also a main producer on his films and he dictates a lot of the filmmaking process. Directors who work with him never have full ...

Re: Would you agree now is the perfect time for Sam Mendes to announce his next espionage film?

I'm curious. What is the problem with Sam Mendes? I like his movies and he's influenced by Nolan then that's good. I see identity in his movies even though some share a similar atmosphere to those of Nolan. I don't actually have that much of a problem with Mendes, I like Road to Perdition a lot, an...

Re: Would you agree now is the perfect time for Sam Mendes to announce his next espionage film?

Well, he might have to wait till Joe Wright also decides on making one; he better hurry if he wants to release it in 2020, Oscar season. . . . Mendes is such a funny case, he is not an auteur; and his filmography is being curdled by history (lookin' at you American beauty). He is a very scattershot...

Re: Trailer #2/Prologue

I hate these lies about single-take movies. 1917 is not one long take. Why do they think we'll believe that over and over? If something like that were actually achievable, Mendes wouldn't be the first one to do it. It would've been Kubrick or Hitchcock or Malick or, you know, one of the greats. Rea...

I want a Sam Mendes movie about two rival astronaut-magicians in outer space who only perform magic tricks in a shared dream world, and it's called Artsa Da.

Re: Trailer #2/Prologue

The issue is: Nolan is victim of his own monumental success. Film Twitter doesn't like him, and neither do the older film critics, and young people view him as conservative. All these groups though, get suckered in by something like a fake-o long take-o. Nolan will get recognition and respect when h...

Re: What actors do you wish Nolan would work with in the future?

- Glenn Close (he told the BBC desert island that she would play his mom in a movie of his life, so now I want them to work together.) - Jim Carrey (obviously because of the Howard Hughes biopic they where planning together, even if that film never gets made, they should work together. - Richard E. ...

Re: Set Photos/Videos (Potential Spoilers)

So there is enough evidence that Fiona Dourif is in the movie; but, Imdb hasn't added her to the cast list....seems weird? Is there a reason they would keep her role under wraps? or just a lack of updating?
