Re: The Jesus Rolls (2020)

Well The Big Lebowski isn't all that popular outside of the US. What I mean is that the original film, this is based on, is very european, and it has an insolence that would be problematic with american audience. There is for example a scene in which a woman finds enjoyement in being sexually haras...

I can't imagine this movie doing well in today's world.
Not in the USA at least.

Also, did anyone laugh during this film?
I don't remember laughing out loud, but I most definitely giggled at almost every scene with Betty and Ned. Also the two teachers were quite funny imo. The
Peter tinkle joke got a little on my nerve though.

Re: Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019)

I thought Amazing Spider-Man was devoid of any life and fun. At least Spider-Man 3 had that going on. Also Raimi is a much better director than Webb imo lol Yep, SP3 gives me the same feeling as BVS, some stuff is great, some is terrible. I may be alone on this, but I don't hate the "dancing in the...

Re: Mulan (2020)

Maybe lukewarm opinion idk: I like that there won't be songs or Mushu in the movie. This tells me this will not be a shot by shot remake. The only live action remake I have seen was Beauty and the Beast and I turned it off after 30 minutes because it was a shot by shot remake and it was boring. I h...

Easily the best spidey since Spider Man 2. One of the best villains.
And this post credits scenes.
I'd have preferred the first post credit scene to be the ending scene of the movie. But that's also 'cause I'm an opponent of post-credit scenes.

Re: Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019)

The film also frames Peter's accidents as funny gags, whilst never bothering to ask the question of whether the existence of that technology is in and of itself a problem and whether one person being given this much power is in and of itself an issue. The film just casually glosses over the invasio...

Re: What Was the Last Episode of TV You Watched

Has anybody seen the BBC's Hercule Poirot with David Suchet? I just rewatched for the I-ve-stopped-counting-a-long-time-ago time Five little pigs . It's TV but it's still may very well be my favourite whodunnit. With the music of Erik Satie, the ending never fails to bring a tear to my eye. Evil und...
