Re: James Cameron About Hollywood These Days

Re: Filming a Chase sequence (Tracking shot)

I am no film maker myself but I think overhead rail should be a better idea. You can also join shots from multiple cameras together. While filming Birdcage they used same technique. From Imdb: The two-minute opening sequence looks like one continuous Steadicam shot when, in fact, the sequence...

Re: Nolan wants to make an Inception video game

How about single player GTA style, well sandbox style. there are layers of dreams: first the real world, where everything is normal and you have to go to places etc... then a dream where depending on if it's yours or someone Else's you can do the totem thing to check if you're in a dream, and like ...

Re: Little moments in the background that are easy to miss?

I am pretty sure that the whole level was being laid down by Yusuf, as you can see not only buildings but also the streets going into place and Yusuf is watching and seems very focused. She is the architect but the dreamer on that level is Yusuf... remember she only teaches the level to the dreamer...

Re: Ariadne's totem

New to the forum, so please be gentle with me! I've now watched the film twice - at the cinema when first released and last night on DVD. And it strikes me that Ariadne's totem is actually more useful than Cobb's. The whole point of a totem is to prove that you are not in a dream or in someone else...
