Re: The Batman (2021)

Damn she's hella lucky. First big role in a Batman movie? That's amazing.

I can't wait to see who she'll be playing but like other guesses here, it's most likely Barbara.

Re: Doctor Sleep (2019)

I really enjoyed this a lot. Such a great slow burn and fantastic performances from Ferguson, McGregor, and Curran. The recreations of the famous scenes from The Shining were really well done and respectful too. I hate that this is tanking at the box office because it really is such a beautiful film.

Why online programs? Most of the benefit of an MBA is the network and prestige factor of the brand name. You should look into in-person M7 MBA options if you're looking to get the most out of your money. It's more affordable. And I plan on working too. I'm not taking time off work to do full time M...

"Gina Gershon over here trying to extend her moment"

The social media campaign has been pretty clever so far though. IDK if I'm feeling the Billy on The Street marketing and I love Billy on the Street

Shit Blair, I'm sorry to hear you're going through all that right now.

It's always so shitty when a partner doesn't make time for you. I totally understand where you're at.

You're a legit awesome dude and I hope things look up for you soon. And my condolences to you and your family.

Re: Disney owns 21st Century Fox Entertainment

Dude, archival screenings are pretty popular in a lot of big cities in the US. Studios can make a good amount from them and it keeps the film in the public eye for a very long time. I've seen plenty of normies go to the screenings at my theater so it's not a Cinephile only thing. There is a culture ...

Re: The Irishman (2019)

Really shows how irrelevant DCEU is when MCU is the jump off point for critiquing all the major franchises. He even says "franchise" in his essay which extends to every blockbuster sequel, prequel, reboot etc. It's still funny seeing people try and twist his words to make it seem like he likes their...

Re: The Irishman (2019)

For me, for the filmmakers I came to love and respect, for my friends who started making movies around the same time that I did, cinema was about revelation — aesthetic, emotional and spiritual revelation. It was about characters — the complexity of people and their contradictory and sometimes para...
