Re: Last Film You Watched? VI

Black Christmas (1974)

This was actually pretty damn creepy, and those final 15 minutes are a real nail biter.

Re: Marvel Cinematic Universe Discussion Thread

Finally, a mature response to this whole ridiculous discussion by way of Jon Favreau. "These two guys are my heroes, and they have earned the right to express their opinions,” Favreau told CNBC in an interview Tuesday morning. “I wouldn't be doing what I'm doing if they didn’t carve the way. They se...

Re: Marvel Cinematic Universe Discussion Thread

To be fair, Coppola's never liked superhero movies. He even put down Richard Donner's Superman as childish nonsense, and that was over 40 years ago.

Re: Marvel Cinematic Universe Discussion Thread

The fans throwing a hissy fit over this are the worst. The fans won, nerds conquered popular culture. Their superhero films are the only real blockbusters around nowadays. Re: 1917 (2019)

It's almost identical to when people started trying to argue The Martian was better than Interstellar . I'm one of those people who likes The Martian better than Interstellar . I like Gravity better than both, though. I'm sure I won't be in the minority at all around here with that opinion...

Re: 1917 (2019)

I'm fully expecting there to be a huge wave of people saying it's better than Dunkirk for the reasons that have already been stated in this forum. I am looking forward to seeing it, though, so it's good to hear some early positive buzz.

Re: Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019)

Finally caught up with this today and loved it. My favorite Tarantino flick since Pulp Fiction. My only regret is not going to see it opening weekend with a packed crowd. Would have been a blast.

Re: Teaser/Trailer #1

It's funny seeing so many people flip out over a 40 second teaser trailer not being released on the internet for several weeks now. Who cares at this point? I'd rather just wait until the first full length trailer comes out in the next few months, probably in December.
