Re: TENET - General Information/Discussion/Speculation

Nolan just saved a few million in cutting Mumbai location shooting from 10 days to 5. Lol your math is off. No way it costs a few million for 5 days. It seemed like a very down to earth shoot. Wasn't any major chase sequence or giant action scene or anything like that. https://i.imgur.com/UaFCi8m.g...

i asked rob eggers if he ever felt the shoot got out of hand since it was by all accounts a cluster and he basically said 'you can cry in your hotel but not on set' which i felt was very fair

the movie is thick unrelenting atmosphere and dafoe is an acting wizard

I would think the stunt would simply be too dangerous to have them do it.
Under the right stunt crew I'm sure they could and did do it. Look at T. Cruise

Re: 1917 (2019)

A research screening of Sam Mendes‘ 1917 happened this evening (Wednesday, 9.18) at the AMC Garden State in Paramus, New Jersey, and one guy (whom I know but have had only sporadic contact with) is claiming it’s grade-A and then some. Wait, why the hell is he moving like that? It looks like he's walking in the air. That's some weird stuff.
He's just practicing the motion of falling
He's not practicing anything. He's helping along being repelled upward for another take.
