Re: 2019-2020 Awards Season

That's the issue, I haven't seen most of them yet. Only OUATIH and I don't see Robbie as an Oscar contender for this. Only DiCpario... maybe, but that's a lead role.

Re: The Northman (TBA)

Ehhh, I wanted that Nosferatu movie... would be amazing if shot in the style of The Lighthouse. I love gothic black and white horrors.

Re: Last Film You Watched? VI

So I saw Alien for the first time ever in theaters and it was great! The film has been on my list of shame for a while and I'm glad I saw it on the big screen. best movie about giving birth of all time -Vader Just above Gravity I've seen it in the cinema when Covenant came out. They did a marathon ...

Re: Bombshell (2019)

Yeah, the first teaser had some real tension in just one scene.

This makes the film feel kind of meh, like a TMZ story and not much else.

Re: The Batman (2021)

Re: 2019-2020 Awards Season

Any candidates you can think of for serious Oscar contention for Supporting categories this year? I'm having a tough time finding anyone in both male and female categories from what I've seen thus far. Typically it's easier for me to come up with supporting actors but this year the leads are packed ...

Anyone seen Eyes Without a Face? I think I may get that.
Fantastic film. Amazing creepy atmosphere, great cinematography. Can get a little long at times but the movie still feels way ahead of its time.

Re: The Batman (2021)

Some peeps on Twitter have fan ficced Lisa Bonet playing an older Catwoman if this Batman film takes place before BvS (idk how to even explain this. This whole cinematic universe is such a mess). This is not a prequel. Wright is Gordon... hardly a chance for him to morph into JK Simmons :P It's a n...
